The powerful Hanuman witnessed
rows of beautiful mansions of demons embedded with gold and diamonds, like
cluster of clouds in the rainy season.
These dazzling mansions had spacious hall, store houses of armaments and
spacious upper floors. Hanuman saw the
wealthy mansions flawlessly constructed by the might of demons worshipped by
deities and demons as well. The palace of Ravana was constructed on Earth with
immense effort by the prominent architect of demons, Maya with all the superior
materials. There were mansions of demon
kings, who have equivalent might of Ravana, and charismatic appearances. The palace of Ravana has the resemblance of
heaven on Earth, splendidly embedded with various gems and diamonds, surrounded
by the trees of various alluring flowers gave out the appearance of a mountain
covered in flowers. There were stunning
mansions decked in various precious gems, stood like mountain peaks, crammed
with flowering trees, lakes packed with lotus flowers. Ultimately, Hanuman witnessed the spectacular
aerial car made of various fascinating flowers/Pushpaka Vimanam which is
capable to fly at any distance. It was
decked with birds, horses and serpents made of precious gems, silver and coral
were meticulously arranged, resembled like the associates of Lord Kamadeva. There was a pool of lotus flowers; elephant
with lotus flower on its trunk worshipping the attractive idol of Goddess Sri
Mahalakshmi with a lotus flower on hand, leaving fragrances all around,
ultimately Hanuman was arrived at the palace of Ravana, who was venerated by the
demons. Hanuman became disappointed to notice his
failure in locating Sita who is venerated by all and conquered by the virtues
of her husband Rama. Hanuman who always follows
the righteous path with great enthusiasm, dedicated surveillance and closely
controlled mind rambled inside the palace; shortly became gloomy on not finding
Sita.
