The cool rays of moon with
brilliant sparkle served Hanuman in performing task of Rama; he could witness
Sita who has the face resemblance to full moon, her face was hung down with
intense grief like sinking ferry.
Hanuman closely observed the dreadful demon and their atypical appearances,
who were gathered around Sita, there were demons of one eyed/Yekakshi, one ear/Yekakarni,
conch shaped ear, bulged nose up to head, lean and long necked, disheveled hair,
without hair, blanket like hair, hanging stomach and breasts, hanging face,
lips in place of chin, hanging knees, short, dwarf, tall, hunch backed, distorted
figure, long teeth and twisted mouth, green eyed and vicious appearances. There were demons with dark complexioned,
Kalahapriya/love to getting into fight, Krodhana/angered, demons with fierce
weapons like dart, hammer, spike, clubs and some of the demons had the faces of
Pig, deer, tiger, buffaloes, goat, female fox, demons with feet like elephants,
camels, horses, and head sunk into their bodies, single handed demons, demons
with single foot, demons with the ears of donkey, cow, elephant and monkey,
demons without nose, horizontal shaped nose, crooked nose, elephants nose, demon
with their toes and nose fixed on the forehead, demons with the feet of
elephant, cow, hairy feet, demons with big head and neck, demons with horrible
bosom and nipples, big stomach, demon with big eyes and mouth, demon with long
tongue and nails, demon with the face of female goat, elephant faced, cow
faced, female pig shaped, horse faced, camel faced, donkey faced, demons with indescribable
horrid appearances, demons with the smoke colored hair and they were always in
a state of intoxication, impatiently eating meat and consume drinks, whose body
were smeared in blood and meat were sitting around the tree. Hanuman could see Sita, daughter of King
Janaka, unblemished, tormented with extreme grief and in murky clothes like the
star fallen from the sky. Sita who is
virtuous and generous, was in utter anguish and agony, pain of separation from
her husband, lack of decoration resembled like a female elephant separated from
the herd was captivated by Lion. Sita
had the look of moon covered by dark clouds at the end of a rainy season, she
has lost luster due to the separation from her beloved husband. Hanuman witnessed Sita who is appropriate to
be in the association of her beloved husband is in the capture of horrible
demons, in the middle of Ashokavatika, immersed in the ocean of grief. She was surrounded by the horrid demons, like
Rohini with the planets, creepers without flowers; her graceful body was
completely covered by dirt like lotus plant, Sita who has beautiful eyes was
attired in muddy clothes, her eyes were daunted with fear, heaving sigh of
utter despair and grief. Hanuman was
delighted to see Sita, who is the personification of Goddess Earth, with
attractive physique shines without any ornaments, Hanuman shed tears of joy and
offered obeisance to Rama.
